missingWrote a review on 27 Novbreakfast varietyshower temperature
i was quite disapointed at the lack of variety in the breakfast choices, it was a bit too simple for my standards. also, the showers fluctuated in temperature, which is simply unacceptable. i suppose being treated like everyone else is just their 'norm. ' of course, the expected upgrade never happened, so here we are. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

My honest journey to loving (or hating) this
Janet's warm welcoming service and homemade cakes throughout our stay made everything feel special. The room was cozy, beautifully presented, and had excellent amenities like a kitchenette. Perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration!
The parking access was somewhat tricky, which added a bit of stress during arrival. I found the shower temperature fluctuated, impacting my enjoyment during those refreshing moments.

The sausages were a glorious highlight at breakfast, and the homemade cakes kept us coming back for more! The warm welcome from Janet made us feel right at home, and the views from our room were simply breathtaking.
Honestly, everything shined bright, but we wouldn't mind seeing a few more cake options during our next visit. it's hard to nitpick when the stay exceeded our expectations!

Thoughtfully designed and spacious rooms, outdoor seating with beautiful views, in-house laundry facilities
Shower temperature inconsistencies are simply unacceptable!!! Challenging parking access can add unwanted stress during your arrival. The absence of a communal guest lounge area really limits options for relaxation and interaction!!!

A Truly Delightful Experience
I had an amazing stay in Ambleside! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with homemade cakes and a glass of wine, which set the perfect tone for my trip. My room was beautifully decorated, clean, and had a lovely view of the garden and nearby fells. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from, including delicious homemade goodies for my walks. The only slight difficulty was navigating the stairs with luggage, but it was worth it for such a lovely place.
