i was quite disapointed at the lack of variety in the breakfast choices, it was a bit too simple for my standards. also, the showers fluctuated in temperature, which is simply unacceptable. i suppose being treated like everyone else is just their 'norm. ' of course, the expected upgrade never happened, so here we are. almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The parking access was somewhat tricky, which added a bit of stress during arrival. I found the shower temperature fluctuated, impacting my enjoyment during those refreshing moments.

The sausages were a glorious highlight at breakfast, and the homemade cakes kept us coming back for more! The warm welcome from Janet made us feel right at home, and the views from our room were simply breathtaking.

I had an amazing stay in Ambleside! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with homemade cakes and a glass of wine, which set the perfect tone for my trip.
